Our records show that as early as 1890 our Joiners shop was busy with local work including the construction of farm wagons – one of which is on show in the Yorkshire Museum of farming.
We pride ourselves on having one of the best joinery shops in the North of England and our team of specialist craftsmen can produce “Anything in wood”.
We are called upon by Architects, local contractors, and individuals alike to undertake work ranging from bespoke kitchens to feature staircases, shop fronts, conservatories and garden rooms. We are also specialists in the slimlite glazing system for listed buildings.
Our joiners are highly skilled and experienced craftsmen and several have been with W A Hare & Son for decades, some worked their apprenticeships with us and stayed, giving continuity of expertise to our work.

We are happy to work with our clients own designs, or our team will look at your requirements and work on a solution for you.
The quality of our work speaks for itself as you can see from the illustrations here, but if you would like to see examples please contact us and arrange a visit.
